How to geo-target your popups?

Hello from Fordeer! Geo-targeting allows your popup campaigns to appear only to visitors from specific locations, such as a country, region, or city. This is especially effective for location-based campaigns. By default, your popup campaigns are set to display in all locations. How to set up geo-targeting: 1. Open your Popup dashboard and click Edit on an existing campaign or create a new campaign 1. Go to the Condition > Location section. You can choose from the following options: - Show in any countries: Displays the popup to all visitors. - Show in certain countries: Select specific countries, regions, or cities where the popup should appear. - Do not show in certain countries: Exclude specific countries, regions, or cities from seeing the popup. 1. If you select one of the last two options, use the dropdown or type to specify the country and put a tick. 1. Click the Save button in the top-right corner And that’s it! Your popups will now display to visitors based on their location. Need further assistance? How to choose the number of Sales pop per page?

Kindly go to the Frequency and Duration section on the Behavior page. You can customize how many pop-ups appear on each page on Number of popup per page option. You can allow up to 20 popups per page. How to show amount of Sold Orders?

Import real number of sold orders At the moment, you only can import the real number of sold orders on the Sold Count popup. The system will auto-synced with the Shopify Orders to get information and then show it on your store website. If you want to show the Sold Count on the website, kindly make sure you have some orders on your Shopify Orders and set up the lookback time to meet your needs. Hello from Fordeer, to customize your sales popup with customer and location details, use the following format for the content: Template: {CUSTOMER} from {LOCATION} bought {PRODUCT} Explanation of variables: - {CUSTOMER}: Displays the customer's name (e.g., Jack). - {LOCATION}: Shows the customer's location, such as a city and country (e.g., London, England). - {PRODUCT}: Displays the full product name, pulled directly from your Shopify Products. Note: If your product name is lengthy, the popup size may appear larger than usual to accommodate the text. Important Notes: 1. While you can use multiple languages in the sales popup content, please note that the event time (e.g., "5 minutes ago") is directly fetched from Shopify and cannot be translated by our app. 2. How to show the teaser on your popup? Overview A teaser is a small, compact tab that stays on your storefront after a shopper closes the popup or clicks Maybe later. It works as a gentle reminder of your offer, so shoppers can reopen the popup and claim the discount whenever they’re ready, without the full popup interrupting their browsing. With the teaser turned on, your popup moves from show once → forgotten to show once → always within reach, helping you capture more email sign-ups and recover shoppers who weren’t ready the first time. Step 1: Open the popup editor 1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Fordeer Sales Popup → Popups. 2. In the Popup List, find the popup you want to edit. 3. Click the ⚙️ Settings icon in the Actions column to open the popup editor. Tip: Don’t have a popup yet? Click Create in the top-right corner of the Popup List to create a new one. Step 2: Turn on Show teaser 1. In the popup editor, select the Condition tab. 2. Click User behavior. 3. In the User behavior panel on the right, switch on the Show teaser toggle. Note: The teaser works together with your User behavior settings. For example, with On a timer set to 5 seconds, the popup appears after 5 seconds, and once the shopper closes it, the teaser remains visible so they can reopen the popup later. Step 3: Preview the teaser 1. At the top of the preview area, select the Teaser tab to see how the teaser will look on your storefront. 2. Use the Desktop and Mobile icons above the preview to check the teaser on both devices. Tip: You can also switch between Start status and Success status to review the full popup journey, from the first view to after a shopper signs up. Step 4: Save your changes Click Save in the top-right corner of the editor. Make sure your popup status shows Active so the popup and teaser appear on your storefront. Tip: Visit your storefront in an incognito window, close the popup, and check that the teaser appears as expected.
